Explaining the Madness of the Epstein Phenomenon
The Negative Dialectic of the Master and Slave
I tell you all we are still deep in the Epstein psyop, and I will tell you exactly how it's working and how to navigate it.
Epstein's case represents a rare look into the depravity of elites, itself simply the one appearance and form of a much much deeper pathology of rentier economy. This has gone on for centuries in the form of the subconscious realization of the Ancien régime, European aristocracy, and the legacy of the real "Nordic model" of land ownership.
Epstein's Island becomes the MacGuffin, a magical place where people confront the depravity concretely only to have it disappear before their eyes in real time. Epstein was involved deeply in many many financial scandals at Bear Sterns, Towers Financial Corporation, The Limited, offshoring money, asset price inflation scams through real estate, etc. for decades and no one concentrates on these shady deals at all.
It's based on the functional, tactical, and strategic suppression of all production through a byzantine web of financial derivatives and ponzi schemes, all of which collude contemporaneously to concentrate power and money within a tiny HNWI and billionaire class, primarily in the USA.
This is what we call "dollar hegemony", of which Epstein is a vulgar spearhead. Imaginations run wild about Satanism and pedo islands, all of which provide popular perception with a particular form that is easily understandable. Pedophilia is the worst possible crime; one of torture of children and symbolizing the ability for elites to manipulate and take away the very basis of life itself.
It would take days to read about the history of fully floating fiat dollar reserve hegemony and fractional banking and the evolution of financial oligarchy, you can quite easily explain a satanic Island of ritual murder and deprivation to anyone in 5 minutes. Both illicit a response of outrage, but only the former has ever been historically actionable.
Similarly devices like Israel's torturous oppression of Palestine serves the same purpose and function. It focuses the anger and disillusionment that comes as a result of proto-class consciousness onto a concrete example of it (one that increasingly is unmistakable for the primary contradiction itself) and allows performative "politics" to be done in the west: it becomes the focus because the underlying overall problem of global Imperialism is not mentionable (or knowable).
The entire original concept and history of anti-Semitism is also reducible to this dynamic: another prime example of the structural economic problem of Europe's struggle to deal with the more predatory and unproductive machinations of rent based economies since the middle ages. Here "Jews" become the focus, the device to endlessly debate because of it's partial "mystery" and ability to deflect from the fundamental issue.
Michael Tracey simply plays the role of Alan Dershowitz (who he repeatedly defends as well these days) on the Epstein issue. Dershowitz is famous for pioneering the "genocide is not happening" in Palestine arguments, that it's a fictitious nonsense perpetuated by "those that hate us" that collapses as soon as the reasonable standards of bourgeoisie formal legalisms apply.
The real "Epstein's Island" could more accurately be described as Israel, where there actually has been a mass killing and rape of children over the last 2 years, one in which the western world has agreed in the aggregate to completely ignore. How many have been killed? Low estimate is 50,000. I doubt Jeff's island posted anywhere near those numbers.
As Tracey devolves into the basic argument of ethos of the elites: "prove it! where is the evidence! it has not been adjudicated!" - we are again given a clinic in the master slave dialectic: the slave desperately wants an official recompense from the master; a payment of sorts for the exploitation and oppression- a payback for all of the "rents" extracted. But the master, like any good ponzi scheme operator, does NOT HAVE IT to give. They spent it long ago. The bank does not have your money...
All Tracey has to do is cling to the structure of the bourgeois formalisms, which themselves are the only structure in town- there is nothing officially outside of this, no ethos, nothing to lean on. So you are stuck with the emptiness of the slave demanding the master atone, which the establishment cannot provide. It doesn't matter to Tracey that it is precisely these mores and norms that are what is being challenged in the first place.
"I want you to be judged by the power of justice!"
"I am the justice and the power, there is no form higher than me, and I say there is nothing to see here!"
Dealing with these derived epicyclical methods of projection from the establishment will always fall into this trap of the master slave dialectic, and there is no other dialectical moment other than actual revolution that can break the wheel.
Been watching people like Alan Dershowitz do this for years with Gaza. People yell genocide, and all he has to do is say "what genocide?" It's as simple as this. And every time the establishment succeeds at robbing the masses of their anger and hatred, they increase their power level indefinitely.
Problem is for the establishment, even as they quash and strangulate the proto class consciousness that leads to a plea for mindless reforms, the stakes go up and up and up...
