Revisionism, Reactionism and the ACP
A new multi-part series explaining everything you want to know about the ACP

Part I
Let’s have an honest discussion about the ACP. Herein I’ll address many of the concerns our potential Comrades have about the new Marxist-Leninist organization whose members claim to be the de facto voice of modern Communism while nearly simultaneously taking on the demeanor and at times even the diction of the avowed enemies of the same. How can we claim the Red Mantle while seemingly attracting and cultivating outwardly revisionist elements? If you’ve come to this series with an open mind, I believe that you can be persuaded with the application of material dialectics and we will engage our topic from that perspective.
To begin our dialectic, we must define our contradictions. The Communists of the ACP, represented here by your author, will prove that our Party is the best to represent the People and best chance for positive change. The contradictions we face are accusations of either harboring, or even ourselves being detrimental to the Communist cause and that we indeed represent Revisionism and Reactionism.
The forward media figures of the American Communist Party have engaged in polemic and have even at times seemed to echo right-wing talking points. The official position of the Party, for example, is one of opposition to the furtherance of identity politics by Progressives, Democrats and their kindred, but also Republicans, Conservatives and their ilk. How does it make sense to equate all these 4 groups on this topic? There can be no doubt that the Conservative element of our system relies on miseducating the working class to prevent the spread of popular ideology (our ideology) and I will explain why.
Oh Shit! Barack Obama!
At the end of GW Bush’s second term, America was fed up with Conservatism. This was part of the predictable cycle that had been identified in Communists circles long ago. Progressive administrations focus on balancing budgets and pragmatic approaches to electioneering. They use their administrative energy governing like fools while Conservative opposition operators sabotage their policies, poison popular discourse and seriously curtail policies ratified by previous Progressive administrations.
Let’s simply take for example Mitch McConnell’s vow upon the eve of the midterm elections during Barack Obama’s first term. “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.” Understand that this man was an active legislator at the time. A man whose single most important achievement is Constitutionally required to be in service to his state. There is no way to argue that the failure of the President does not represent the failure of the country.
When John McCain lost the 2008 election to the first Black President, the Republican party openly panicked. They conducted an “post-mortem” of the election in which they would determine exactly what had happened. How did they lose? The determinations were sobering and largely demonstrated. John McCain was a great candidate hindered by the Party’s misguided, identity based decision to field then unknown, but moderately attractive and willing to say whatever she needed to enough; Governer of Alaska, Sarah Palin.
In Part II, we will delve further into the aftermath of the 2008 election, driving toward our ultimate goal of delivering to you the causa vivendi of the American Communist Party. Subscribe now and join us next time!
